The Kallums contracts team created a colourful and striking cloakroom, which is part of a larger bathroom project. Our dedicated expert team provided project management, installation and design services for Cardinal House – which includes 6 bathrooms and a cloakroom. This small bathroom design is perfect for providing inspiration for cloakroom ideas and downstairs toilet ideas.
Once completing a site survey, we met with the client to discuss the project in detail. Our client’s vision was stylish, high quality bathrooms that were functional and practical; emphasising that quality and practicality were of the upmost importance. The bathroom designs would be a mixture of traditional and modern.
After the consultation, one of our talented bathroom designers immediately began to work on the bathroom designs and specification. Lots of tile samples were sent from The Stone & Ceramic Warehouse. Our client really likes marble and granite however, it would have been extremely expensive to have this material in every bathroom. Therefore, we opted for porcelain tiles which are a great imitation of natural stone. Moodboards and 3D design visuals allowed our client to fully immerse themselves in their future bathrooms, and to clearly visualise the chosen tiles.
For the cloakroom our client wanted a modern yet striking design. Creating this small bathroom design with high quality, practical products was key. Small spaces, such as cloakrooms, are perfect for using wild colours and extravagant patterns. A bespoke worktop and splashback were designed to match the tiles, creating a seamless design. The stunning yellow and pink wallpaper perfectly complemented the gold taps and bathroom accessories; whilst creating a pleasing contrast against both the black and white tiles.
