Modern Bathroom Design for Bespoke Home Working alongside JS Construction Solutions, the Kallums contracts team brought expert modern bathroom design to life at The Pines, a stunning bespoke coastal home built from the ground up. We designed and supplied four beautifully curated bathrooms, each offering a blend of luxury, functionality, and contemporary style. The standout master bathroom features a freestanding bath on a raised platform in front of a bay window with breathtaking sea views, surrounded by calming neutral tiles, black panelling, and matt black brassware for striking contrast. A double vanity with matt white washbowls and a wood-effect finish adds warmth and elegance. The family bathroom carries through the serene palette with the addition of a blue feature wall, wrapping into an alcove that forms a sleek, open wet room shower, complete with built-in niche shelving. In the ensuite, we made the most of a compact space with the same flowing tile layout, blue and white tile accents, and clever storage touches, proving that smaller bathrooms need not compromise on design. Finally, the cloakroom embraces the home’s natural decor with a white wall-hung toilet, black accessories, and a neat shelving nich turning a once-overlooked space into a stylish and practical addition. Each bathroom seamlessly reflects the home’s overall aesthetic, delivering both beauty and purpose throughout. Cloakroom – Cardinal House The Kallums team transformed a small cloakroom at Cardinal House into a striking, modern space as part of a larger project featuring six bathrooms. Focusing on high-quality, practical design, we used bold yellow and pink wallpaper to complement gold taps and accessories, with black and white tiles providing a stylish contrast. Porcelain tiles, chosen for their marble-like appearance, were paired with bespoke worktops and splashbacks for a seamless look. Fulham Cloakroom Project

Fulham Cloakroom Project The Kallums contracts team transformed a compact cloakroom in Fulham into a luxurious, award-nominated space as part of a three-bathroom refurbishment for a young couple’s first family home. Commissioned by Green County Developments, we provided full bathroom design services and supplied every detail of this striking and elegant room. Despite the cloakroom’s limited footprint, our brief was to create a bold, sophisticated powder room with a blend of luxurious materials, bespoke elements, and contemporary finishes. The clients had a strong vision pairing marble and wallpaper with brushed gold brassware and ambient lighting to craft a space full of character and style. The cloakroom’s standout feature is the extravagant Leopardo wallpaper by Matthew Williamson, rich in gold and brass tones, which brings opulence and vibrancy to the room. To contrast and ground the design, we chose large-format white marble tiles from The Stone & Ceramic Warehouse. These tiles reduced grout lines, making the space feel more expansive and uninterrupted. Offcuts from these tiles were cleverly used to craft a custom countertop, which seamlessly integrates into the overall look thanks to a brushed brass tile trim that bridges the transition between tiles and wallpaper. A matt white countertop basin from Waters Baths and a wall-mounted toilet from Flaminia kept the palette refined, while a brushed brass tap from Crosswater and matching accessories added a consistent, luxurious finish. Lighting was key to elevating the space pendant lights hang at staggered heights to create visual interest above the vanity, while a soft LED-lit niche above the WC and ceiling strip lighting enhance the warm, ambient glow. The look is completed with a large, backlit mirror from HIB that further enhances the sense of space and light. This beautifully crafted cloakroom proves that even the smallest bathrooms can deliver a lasting impression when design, detail, and functionality are perfectly balanced. Previous Next Small Bathroom and En-Suite in Putney London Description: This Small Bathroom and En Suite installation in fancy block of flats in Putney, London came with few design challenges. As with most of the flats, floors are built out of concrete and it is very hard to create level walk in shower room and wet rooms. Most of the furniture, sanitaryware products and tiles used in these two bathroom remodelling are from Villeroy & Boch. Clever use of LED strips lights and ceiling spot lights have helped with the lack of natural lighting. Location: East Putney, London Finished On: Jun 2017 Remarks: The project was completed on time and budget The Challenges: To conceal toilet cistern, shower valves and all pipes into the brick walls. Also, to complete production of custom made vanity unit, tall storage cabinet and mirror on time.
