Designer Bathroom Tiles – Top Tile Trends 2025

The Colours You Should Be Incorporating into Your Bathroom Renovation 14 April 2025 When it comes to designing a luxury bathroom, choosing the right colour palette is key to creating a sophisticated and timeless space. At Kallums Bathrooms, we specialise in high-end, bespoke bathroom designs, helping homeowners across Surrey and London craft spaces that exude elegance and luxury. Here are the top colours to consider for your bathroom renovation: Soft Neutrals: Warm Greys, Taupes, and Beiges Soft neutrals are the foundation of a serene and refined bathroom. Warm greys, taupes, and soft beiges provide a sophisticated backdrop that allows other design elements to shine. These timeless shades bring an understated elegance to any space, offering versatility while maintaining a sense of calm. These hues work beautifully in both contemporary and classic bathroom styles, making them perfect for homeowners seeking a timeless, tranquil retreat. Navy and Deep Sapphire Blues If you’re looking to add depth and drama, navy and deep sapphire tones are perfect for a luxurious bathroom. These rich, bold shades work exceptionally well on cabinetry, accent walls, or tile details, creating a striking yet calming environment. The darker tones evoke a sense of grandeur, while still feeling relaxed and sophisticated—ideal for creating a statement in your bathroom without overwhelming the senses. Nature-Inspired Greens Green tones—especially deep emeralds and forest greens—bring a nature-inspired vibe to your bathroom. These colours evoke balance, tranquility, and a sense of calm, perfect for creating a spa-like atmosphere at home. When paired with gold or brass fixtures, these shades can elevate the space to new levels of opulence, offering a refined, earthy elegance. Consider incorporating deep green tiles, walls, or accessories for a truly luxurious, nature-infused experience. Crisp White and Marble Classic white bathrooms are forever chic. When paired with marble textures and subtle metallic accents, white creates a fresh, airy, and light-filled space. A clean, white backdrop not only enhances the brightness of the room but also complements a wide range of styles and fixtures. Whether you opt for a full marble look or subtle white tiles with marble inlays, this colour scheme brings an air of sophistication and timeless beauty to any bathroom. Warm Terracotta and Clay Tones For those seeking a unique and earthy feel, terracotta and clay tones introduce Mediterranean charm and warmth. These colours create a grounded, inviting atmosphere and can bring depth and texture to your bathroom. Terracotta tiles, clay sinks, or accent pieces paired with natural stone or wood elements enhance the rustic, luxurious ambiance. This palette is perfect for those who want their bathroom to feel like a luxurious escape with a touch of warmth and character. Striking Black Accents Black fixtures, cabinetry, and tiles are becoming increasingly popular in luxury bathroom design. This dramatic colour creates striking contrasts that enhance the overall aesthetic. Black accents add modern sophistication and a sleek, high-end look to any bathroom. Whether it’s black-framed mirrors, matte black faucets, or a statement black tile wall, this bold choice brings an element of luxury and refinement that feels contemporary and timeless. Luxury Bathroom Renovation Chiswick

Luxury Bathroom Renovation Chiswick Are you thinking about a new bathroom design or full renovation in Chiswick? Our expert contracts team at Kallums recently delivered four beautifully designed luxury bathrooms for a residential property in Chiswick, London, offering a fully managed service that included design, supply, and installation. The project involved two cloakrooms, a family bathroom, and a master bathroom, all tailored to the client’s desire for modern, on-trend spaces. While the family bathroom and one cloakroom simply needed a stylish refresh with marble tiles, sleek vanity units, LED lighting, and a walk-in shower, the master bathroom required a complete redesign to improve its inefficient layout and tackle the challenge of sloped ceilings. Our team maximised space by cleverly positioning the toilet and creating a spacious wet room shower area, paired with a freestanding bath under a large window for a relaxing focal point. Elegant touches like brushed brass fittings, a dark grey double vanity unit, and seamless tile finishes added warmth and sophistication throughout. Even the unused ground floor cloakroom was transformed from a storage area into a fully functioning and beautifully finished bathroom. Premium products from trusted brands such as JTP, Waters Baths, IdeaGroup, Flaminia, and Stone & Ceramic Tiles were used across all spaces, ensuring long-lasting quality and style. This project is a perfect example of how a fully managed bathroom renovation service can transform tired spaces into functional, modern sanctuaries. 3 ways to make your Powder Room more functional and stylish

3 ways to make your Powder Room more functional and stylish We think having a powder room in your home sounds more than just a little bit glamourous. They are often overlooked in home design, but they’re an important option to consider if you are thinking of adding an extra toilet space. We call it a powder room, but it can also be referred to as a “half bath”. Dating back to the 18th century, the origin of the name “powder room” comes from the closet-sized rooms where ladies would literally powder their wigs – this is actually where the expression “powdering one’s nose” is from! Our modern-day equivalents are thankfully free of wigs and powder and this small bathroom offers a moment of respite for guest and homeowners alike. A powder room is usually a small bathroom, including a toilet and sink area. You won’t commonly find a shower or bathtub in a powder room and they can frequently be found on the first floor of a home. Their purpose is for guests to use when visiting, without invading the more private space of your family bathroom. Because it’s a space that anyone who may pop round is likely to use, powder rooms are usually as stylish and inviting as they are functional. Whether you are looking to install a brand-new bathroom or looking to freshen up your bathroom space, here are 3 great ways to spruce up your powder room! Install an Under Counter Basin An under counter basin is one of the easiest ways to add space without sacrificing style. It’s also a very popular option because it allows you to keep the vanity area clear of clutter. Cleverly designed to sit flush with your choice of countertop, under count basins offer a luxurious and seamless finish. We tend to advise that these are used under marble or stone, however the design options are endless! There’s no doubt that undercounter basins help make the counter surface a real statement in a small bathroom space. To really complete this statement, we suggest choosing some sleek wall-mounted brassware. Go Bold Powder rooms will most likely be small, therefore a perfect space to be bold and daring with your design choice. This is a chance to really explore your inner designer! For example, we don’t think any bathroom is too small to handle a bold floor to ceiling wallpaper print. As a matter of fact, the smaller your powder room, the bigger the impact! Dark colours have historically been branded as gloomy and moody – and possibly even claustrophobic. We instead think that painting your powder room one dark colour can in fact help open up your small space. Especially when paired with reflective shiny elements such as mirrors and sliver tapware. These will help the light bounce around the room and really make your room pop. Incorporate a statement mirror No powder room is really complete without a stand out mirror to help you freshen up your makeup. For the best grooming experience, a Hollywood mirror in your powder room is the best solution. Surrounded by glitzy light bulbs, it really is the best way to brighten up your space and see yourself much clearer. This is particularly helpful in a small powder room with no or limited natural light coming through. Feel like a celebrity and add an easy touch of glamour – bonus, opt for one with LED bulbs that will last for ages! We’ve been transforming bathrooms in London. Creating a Minimalist Bathroom Design for top London Interior Designer

Creating a Minimalist Bathroom Design for top London Interior Designer Ruth approached Kallums Bathrooms in search of a timeless, calming space for her family. Inspired by our London showroom, she worked closely with one of our expert designers to bring her vision of a modern minimalist bathroom to life. Though she admired many trends, Ruth chose to strip back and focus on simplicity, materials, and texture to create a soothing, clutter-free environment. With limited space a common feature in London homes our team carefully designed a layout that maximised every inch. We concealed all exposed pipework to maintain clean lines and a seamless finish. A standout feature was the Nilo basin from Kast Concrete Basins, chosen in a rich ‘stone’ shade. Its defined shape and raw texture became a central design element, perfectly complementing dark grey tiles and a wall-mounted English oak vanity unit. Brushed nickel brassware from Coalbrook and Crosswater added subtle warmth and elegance, enhancing the earthy colour palette. To replace her previous plastic tub, Ruth selected a robust steel bath by Bette in classic white, paired with a Saneux bath screen. A rimless wall-hung toilet from Saneux completed the look, improving both hygiene and space efficiency. The result: a smart, stylish bathroom that feels spacious, serene, and beautifully minimal.
