Set within a secluded cottage in Barnes, South West London, this beautifully considered bathroom transformation captures the essence of spring living, light, uplifting, and effortlessly elegant. At the heart of the design sits a striking yellow freestanding bath, bringing warmth, personality, and a sense of joy to the space. What was once a dated and impractical bathroom has been reimagined by Kallums Bathrooms into a refined sanctuary.

The client’s brief was to create a space that felt both luxurious and highly practical, incorporating a walk-in wetroom, a statement freestanding bath, and a vanity unit with ample storage. Each element was carefully curated to work in harmony, with a soft palette and marble-effect tiles enhancing natural light and creating a calm, cohesive backdrop. The bold bath introduces a contemporary twist, elevating the entire scheme.
Working within a smaller footprint required careful planning and precision. The challenge was to seamlessly integrate both a bath and a shower area without compromising on comfort or flow. Additional attention was given to preparing walls and floors to ensure perfectly level surfaces for the large-format tiles, allowing for a flawless finish. Our installation team delivered this with meticulous detail, ensuring every aspect met our high standards.
The completed space is a bright, airy retreat that feels both indulgent and welcoming. The yellow freestanding bath creates a stunning focal point, while the walk-in wetroom enhances the sense of openness. Smart storage within the vanity keeps the space uncluttered, supporting a clean and elegant finish.
