Last Week, Team Kallums travelled to Italy for the world’s largest annual design event, Milan Design Week 2023! Every year designers, architects, and many other industry professionals travel to Milan to discover the latest innovations and design trends by visiting the endless events, exhibitions and installations on offer across the city. And of course, Team Kallums were no exception! Together, we explored the beautiful city of Milan to uncover the best new bathroom design trends and innovations, as well as catching up with many of the wonderful bathroom brands we supply.

One of the highlights of our trip was visiting one of our favourite luxury bathroom brands, Gessi! During Milan Design Week 2023, Gessi were showcasing their incredible new Haute Culture collections at Salone Del Mobile and at Casa Gessi Milano. The Kallums team were completely mesmerised by this stunning new collection, which features two stunning product ranges.
Gessi describes The Haute Culture Collection as “recovering, renewing, and experimenting with all the skills and craftsmanship typical of the Italian way of life, in order to protect this culture, which is otherwise in danger of fading out, and to take it to the next level.”

The PERLE collection is undoubtedly a favourite for team Kallums! And one of the most exciting, innovative, and versatile collections we have come across. Designed with the characteristics and values of Jewellery – PERLE is the epitome of excellence, elegance, and refinement. This collection was inspired by the pearl, one of the most perfect and rare shapes within nature. The perfect sphere shape of the pearl inspired the creation and craftmanship of these exquisite handles. Harmoniously balanced with the sculptural shape of the tap, which interacts with the pearl shaped handle seamlessly.
PERLE’s extensive collection is a tactile and aesthetic pleasure, which is guaranteed to be the focal point of any luxurious bathroom design that it graces. This outstanding collection was showcased in a vast array of finishes, combinations, and sizes. We also discovered that the beautiful pearl handles are available in metal, wooden, Murano glass, semi-precious materials, and synthetic styles.
