Designer Bathroom Tiles – Top Tile Trends 2025

Designer bathroom tiles are a force to be reckoned with and have the ability to make or break your new bathroom design.

With so many colours, textures, styles, patterns, and materials to choose from – the design possibilities are endless! However, for some people this can be quite overwhelming.

It can be difficult to know where to start when planning a new bathroom design, with tiles being one of the more difficult products to choose.

To help you get started, our team of dedicated bathroom experts have collated the best tile trends for 2025.

Create a sense of interest with bold designer bathroom tiles

Looking for a completely bespoke bathroom?  If you find the most common, popular bathroom designs a little lacklustre – then consider bold designer tiles that really speak to you.

Textured Tiles

Texture in the bathroom is a timeless trend that keeps getting better, and we are certain it will continue growing throughout 2025. There are now many stylish ways to add texture to a bathroom design, but one of our favourites is with textured tiles.

From modern grooves, fluted finishes, and irresistible tactile feels – any style of textured tile will elevate your bathroom design by creating depth and perspective whilst adding character.

To elevate a minimalist bathroom design, consider subtle textured tiles with raised surfaces, grooves, and refined lines. If you are looking for something bolder, opt for tiles with irregular, shifting surfaces that boast more intricate detailing.

Green Bathroom Tiles

Colourful bathrooms continue to grow in popularity, but one colour that seems to be the current favourite is green!

Earth like colours, such as green, can make us feel more at one with nature, promoting a relaxing and restorative atmosphere. There are so many luxurious options with green bathroom tiles!

On one end of the colour palette, you have subtle mint pastel greens which pairs fantastically with white.

At the other end, you have deep, dark moss and emerald green colours for a more striking and bold look.

Marble Effect Tiles

Marble tiles are synonymous with luxury bathroom designs and considered a timeless staple. Whilst marble effect tiles themselves aren’t as such a new trend, we are seeing homeowners opting for more dramatic and colourful marble with statement veining.

Some of our favourite include classic white marbles with bold, burgundy veining. Plus, luxurious colourful marbles in pastel tones such as green and blue.

Wood Effect Tiles

A firm favourite trend here at Kallum’s (which we feel is here to stay!) are wood effect tiles.

Ideal for adding texture, character, and interest to any bathroom design, they also promote a sense of warmth and charm that can usually only be achieved with natural wood.

A great way to use wood effect tiles is on the floor when paired with a more neutral toned wall tile. For something bolder, we love using wood effect tile panelling across bathroom walls!

Sustainable Tiles

Sustainability is very important to us here at Kallums, which is why we prioritise supplying luxury bathroom brands that care about as sustainability as much as we do.

There are many innovative ways to make your bathroom more energy efficient, but did you also know that you can opt for sustainable tiles? Luxury brands such as Ca’Pietra have their own dedicated collection of Eco Tiles.

Discover a range of stylish tumbled tiles, boasting rich, playful tones with a delightful tactile feel.

All of which are made from recycled stone materials and crafted in a carbon-neutral factory. Looking for a more bold tile pattern?  Their Riatlo collection showcases beautiful terrazzo tiles all made from recycled and waste marble matorrals.

Tile Drenching

A growing design trend that can be a great way to quickly make your bathroom luxurious is tile drenching. This is where you use a single tile design to cover a large of the bathroom, resulting in a bold and immersive look.

Tile drenching is an incredibly versatile decorating trend that can be used for many different types of aesthetics. However, a key consideration before choosing your tiles is the size of your bathroom.

When dealing with a more compact space, large format tiles and lighter colours are an ideal choice. They can help create the illusion of a more open space with a seamless, expansive look.

Other important aspects are the finish of the tiles and your bathroom lighting. Glossy tiles also help make the space feel more open and can help bounce light around the room. Balancing one type of tile with the right lighting is essential for mastering this trend.

When dealing with a larger space, bold tile patterns can be a great option for creating a striking, maximalist design scheme.

Mocha Brown tile colour of the year 2025

Pantone colour of the year 2025 – Mocha Mousse

Warm, neutral bathroom tiles have continued to grow in popularity in recent years. So, it’s hardly surprising that Pantone’s colour of the year for 2025 is Mocha Mousse! A soft, warming brown shade imbued with a delicate richness is perfect for creating a comforting bathroom design.

The rise in the neutral bathroom tile trend has perfectly complemented the incredibly popular wellness and self-care trend.

Homeowners are loving bathroom designs with warm, earthy hues that create a relaxing ambience. Brown tones, such as Mocha Mousse, are a perfect example of this!

Colours like this promote a comforting, grounding feel that really resonates in the bathroom space.

Statement Designer Bathroom Tiles

It’s good to be different, and the bathroom is no exception! Make a statement with a striking bathroom design using statement designer bathroom tiles, that showcases your own individual style.

A bathroom features a green bathtub, patterned hexagon tiles, ladder with towels, and a vase of flowers, creating a serene atmosphere.

Patterned Bathroom Floor Tiles

If you want to make a statement with your new bathroom design, but also want it to stand the test of time and still be stylish in the years to come, we suggest patterned bathroom floor tiles!

We recommend using a more minimal, neutral tile on the walls and let your floor do the talking with striking, bold patterned tiles.

Dark and Dramatic

If black or dark colours are your favourite, consider a dark and moody bathroom design that makes a bold statement. To really create a sense of drama, use dark tiles on both the walls and floor! Elevate the look further with black ceramics and/or dark metal brassware.

Alternatively, use white ceramics to create contrast or a bolder metal for your taps such as gold or brass.

Feature Wall

Another firm favourite of ours, which can be tailored from subtle to statement, is a feature wall!

A feature wall is where one wall differs from the rest in your space, creating interest that reinforces your style with a visual impact. The possibilities are endless with a feature wall, and can focus on colour, pattern, contrast, or texture.

When creating a feature wall, we highly recommend keeping the other walls more simple and neutral to ensure that your feature wall takes centre stage of your bathroom design.
